Durham’s Christmas Festival will return from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December, 2020. Come along and get the Christmas shopping well under way with 300 local independent traders.  As well as shopping, Durham Christmas Festival is the perfect way to get into a festive mood … there will, as always, be a wide range of seasonal entertainment for all the family in and around the World Heritage Site of the Cathedral and the Castle and throughout the City Centre.  Highlights will include the Children’s Lantern Procession on Saturday 5th December, Carols for All in Durham Cathedral … and Santa in his Grotto in Children’s Corner on Palace Green!
